Ingredients for Cabbage with Polish Sausage
- 1cup onion, chopped
- 2tablespoons butter
- 2tablespoons flour
- 1cup water
- 1⁄4cup vinegar
- 3⁄4teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄4teaspoon pepper
- 12cups cabbage, coarsely chopped
- 1 -1 1⁄2lb Polish sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces

Directions for Cabbage with Polish Sausage:
- Sauté onion in butter in a Dutch oven over low heat until tender. Add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Gradually add water and vinegar; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
- Stir in remaining ingredients. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
